Cerbellivision of Wonderland
The awe-inspiring majesty of Cipriani 42nd Street provided the ideal setting for the Cerbelli Creative team to show off their live event Halloween production skills.
And, happily, the Originators’ were a part of their plan.
Drawing on an Alice In Wonderland theme, the Originators were called on to provide one of their signature stretch-fabric tunnel entrance designs – a 30’long x 10’h x 10’w SeeShell Tunnel – as the Rabbit Hole.
The free-standing, white tension fabric structure made a magical first impression while transitioning guests from their world into the awaiting wonderland.
Cleverly fronting the tunnel was a 10’h x 10’w Keyhole entrance that welcomed guests to the Cerbellivision of Wonderland.
It was a blast!
Originators’ Chief Creative and Co-founder, Debra Roth and the Originators’ crew worked with Project Coordinator, Kayla Jaffy and Project Manager, Blair Lenz on-site. Teaming with the fantastic lighting team, the tunnel created the illusion of a forced perspective Rabbit Hole, further reinforcing the wonderful fun of the night.
Curiously, a niche seems to have found the Originators as this is not the first time they’ve been called on to produce a “rabbit hole” tunnel. In fact the most dramatic iteration was also with Cerbelli Creative back in 2016 which saw over 60’ of tunnel enveloping the escalator bank at the JW Marriot San Antonio Hill Country. Clearly the SeeShell Tunnel has met its time – as this is an ideal match of innovative product meeting the fantasy zeitgeist of the moment.
Get to know the Originators robust collection of ready-made, off-the-shelf Tunnels – and so much more – that not only make a great first-impression but are the ideal traffic director – combining form and function – in an aesthetically pleasing, cost-effective way.

Did you ever wonder….
Why is she called the Queen of Hearts?
Lewis Carroll intentionally wrote the Queen of Hearts as a character ruled by her own passions – an unreasonable tyrant.
Symbolically ruled by her heart rather than her head.
Carroll wrote Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at a time when the American and French Revolutions were less than 100 years old. Britain was moving away from absolute monarchy towards constitutional monarchy.
So this portrayal of the dangers of an absolute monarch off her marbles made a point.
The courtiers surrounding her majesty are constantly placating her whims, expending valuable energy and resources “painting the roses red” and fixing croquet games. While also undoing her crazier pronouncements condemning countless subjects to death for perceived offenses.
