Amazon’s Transparent TV
Happy to say that the Originators continue delivering WOW!, this time it’s streaming on Amazon Prime’s 2nd season of the award-winning, ground-breaking show, “Transparent.”
Our tent-like “Landmark Shade Structure” is comprised of a mosaic of bright blue and yellow fabric, stands 25’ tall and has a broad 40’diameter. You’ll see how it provides a strong visual presence to the setting and anchors a wide-open festival space,
the Idyllwild Wimmin’s Music Festival.
This sequence is in the second-to-last, 9th, episode of the season.
We’re especially proud of engineering – a custom-designed, one-of-a-kind, free-standing rigging method that, with the proper ballast, was rated for gale-force winds. We were pleased to see that we even impressed a team of Hollywood riggers.
And it was a real treat to work with the Production Design team, in particular, the set decorator, Susan Eschelbach, who deserves a special thank you for bringing us to the party!
